Ace machine will last granddaughter thru SATs and university. Wish I'd had one! Note; big learning curve but loads of tutorials on the net, and she was into it inside of half an hour. Youthful brain I suppose!

TI Nspire CX is used in my school for math, biology, physics and chemistry classes of the students who study in the International Baccalaureate Programme. It is a part of their education and they cannot finish the programme without obtaining basic skill how to use it.

Amazing for checking answers for A level Maths and Further Maths. Quite complicated but there are loads of video tutorials on line, a worthwhile investment

I use this calculator for my A level maths and also for the SAT subject test math 2. I found it very easy to learn how to use even though after a week of having the calculator I am still learning some of the functions it has but I have also been able to use it for what I needed it for. It is really useful and I will also be using it for engineering courses that I plan to take later on at university\nThis is my first graphic calculator as well as it being very useful; it is also allowed on major exams (GCSE, A level, SAT, ACT, IB). Yes it is expensive but I think it is something worth having since you can use it from age 15 until university.\nThe colour screen definitely makes it more attractive and easy to distinguish between 2 or more different graphs.\nThe best way to learn how to use the calculator is to play around with it and after  that you are good to go.

Used at AS level and on to A level.\nSuperb product and excellent technical support from TI. Would not hesitate to recommend it.  Software interface is superb. This has got to be the industry standard. Takes some learning but the but the depth of the product is outstanding.

I think the calculator is very good but misses out probably one of the most important features that is needed and that is giving exact answers. So, say I put root2/2 it will come out as a decimal, and when working with radians nothing will come up as say pi/2 it will always come out as a decimal. Everything else's seems to work well, changing from radians to degrees is a bit of a longwinded activity and so far I have only found out how to change documents and can't seem to change the scratch pad from radians to degrees. The calculator is pretty easy to pick up for the first time and use which is good.

Works as it should. Packaging could have been more "professional" however it is good enough to keep the product safe. Looked brand new and works like brand new so I have nothing to complain about yet!
