I ordered this cable because I thought it was required for the graph-link software. This is not the case, this cable does not work with graph-link software. This cable is essentially just a usb to rs232 converter for the calculator. It is only required for the TI83+ because the latter calculator does not support usb.

It arrived promptly, itching to download stuff onto my TI-83-PLUS, I plugged the cable into my laptop and attempted to download various APPS, to no avail, each one I tried I was met with the same error message. This has left me wondering if I have made a bad purchase.
